This article guides on how to pull API logs from ConnectWise for troubleshooting. You can use this method to investigate when your ConnectWise API connection encounters an issue.
Pulling ConnectWise API Logs
- Log in to ConnectWise Manage.
- Go to System > Members.
- Go to the API Members tab.
- Click on the Member name created in step 2.a under Create the API key section in ConnectWise Manage - API Integrations Setup, such as MSPbots.
- Go to the API Logs tab.
- Click on the Start Debug Mode hyperlinked text.
- When the Start Debug Mode pop-up appears, enter the time it took for you to reproduce the issue into the Minutes textbox, for example, 5.
- Click the OK button.
- Reproduce the issue you encountered in MSPbots.
- Repeat steps 1-5 to return to the API Logs tab.
- Click on the Download Logs hyperlinked text.
- The API files will download immediately to your browser to provide to the development team. You can submit a request to send the API files.
