The Integration Connection Status Bot notifies you when one of your integrations gets disconnected from MSPbots. It automatically sends alerts to assigned users at the onset of one of the following integration-related issues:
- Your integration is down, broken, or shows an error.
- The user is unable to view dashboards.
- The widgets are not updating.
- The SQL agent is down.

Why should I use this bot?
The Integration Connection Status bot facilitates smooth and uninterrupted business operations and processes by detecting PSA connection problems and sending notifications for immediate action-taking. With this template bot, you can:
- Receive notifications via your chosen channel (email, Microsoft Teams, or Slack)
- Configure the bot to send emails that automatically generate tickets
- Customize the alert message and provide a guide for fixing the issue
Prerequisites
- You need an admin role to clone the bot template and customize bots for your business needs.
- The email and user to receive the notification must be added to the MSPbots User Management. Refer to User Management for instructions on adding the user to the MSPbots app.
How to set up and activate the Integration Connection Status bot
- Clone and customize the Integration Connection Status Template.
- Open the MSPbots app and go to Bots.
- Select the Template Bots tab on the Bots page.
- Scroll down the templates list and find Integration Connection Status Template.
Alternatively, you can go to the search bar and search for Integration Connection Status Template.
- Next. click the ellipsis ... button and select Clone.
- In the Clone window, customize the Bot Name and update the information in the Role and Description fields.

Save your modifications.
- Select a channel to send the alerts and assign a recipient.
- Go to the My Bots tab on the Bots page.
- Select the bot you cloned and click to open it.
- Click Next in the Trigger window.
- In the Alert window, assign the alert recipient for the channels below.
Don't forget to add the email and user to the MSPbots User Management before proceeding. Refer to User Management for instructions on adding the user to the MSPbots app.- Microsoft Teams Private Chat

MS Teams and Email are the channels activated by default. You can activate the Slack Channel and Slack Chat if those are your preferred channels.
