You must be assigned a role before you start using MSPbots and its apps, dashboards, features, and some settings. Roles give users access to data and settings that are useful to them and ensure the privacy and security of confidential information.
Only admins can assign roles in the MSPbots app.
Here are the different roles that you can assign to company members.
The Admin or Administrator role has overall administrative rights on the MSPbots app. Admins can perform operations and edit settings within the app but do not necessarily have access to financial assets.
Admins are in charge of assigning roles to other users. The admin is the only role that can add and modify integrations.
|The Attendance Only role only gives access to specific Attendance Manager assets and dashboards within the Assets Scope set in Role Management.
|The Billing Only role can view all dashboards and access the billing page.
|The Dashboard Only role only gives access to specific dashboards within the Assets Scope set in Role Management.
The Financial role gives MSPbots users access to accounting mapping, financial assets, and widgets and dashboards on financials. This role is assigned to users whose accounting software, like Xero and Quickbooks, is integrated with the MSPbots app.
Users with the Financial role can assign the financial role to other users.
|The N-able Benchmarking role has access to the N-able Benchmarking app and related assets only.
|The NextTIcket Only role gives users access to their next ticket in the NextTicket portal.
|The Peer Group role has access to specific KPIs and benchmarking assets for peer groups.
|The User is the default role for MSPbots users. This role has full read permission for the basic assets and features within the MSPbots app. This role cannot edit settings and perform operations reserved for Admins.
Role assignment is done in the User Management section of the MSPbots app. Please refer to the article User Management for help with assigning roles.
