QuickBooks Online Integration Setup

1. Log in to MSPbots as an admin.
2. Navigate to Integrations in the MSPbots app.
   
   
   
   
3. Search for QuickBooks Online and click it to open the connection settings.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Sync.
   
   
   
   
5. Sign in to QuickBooks as a user with view access to customer information.
   1. Enter your email and click Sign in.
      
      
      
      
   2. Enter your Password and click Continue.
      
      
      
      
   3. Successfully logged into the QuickBooks app.
      
      
      
      
6. When Success appears, the connection to QuickBooks Online with MSPbots is successful.
   
   
   
   
7. Synchronizing data from the QuickBooks Online app to MSPbots usually takes 20 to 30 minutes.

Known issues

1. Unable to close QuickBooks

Issue Description

The customer is unable to close QuickBooks, and the error message shown in the image below appears.

Possible Causes

This may be because the MSPBots QB Web Connector app is currently using QuickBooks.

Solutions

Follow the steps below to manually close the MSPBots QB Web Connector app to shut down QuickBooks.

1. Exit the MSPBots QB Web Connector app.
   1. Open your Windows taskbar.
   2. Locate the MSPBots QB Web Connector app on the taskbar.
      
      • If you can find the MSPBots QB Web Connector app.
        
        1. Right-click the app.
        2. Select Exit.
      • If the MSPBots QB Web Connector app is not visible.
        1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
        2. Go to the Processes tab, find QBWebConnector.exe, and end the task.
2. Attempt to close QuickBooks again.
   Once the MSPBots QB Web Connector app is closed, try shutting down QuickBooks.
