The Stream to TV function of the MSPbots app allows you to share dashboards on screens. With this function, you can display your dashboard in areas where it will be most visible to your team. Real-time updates, priority tasks, and urgent issues are accessible and highlighted for timely action-taking.
How to display a dashboard using Stream to TV
- Navigate to Dashboards on the MSPbots app menu.
- Search for the dashboard for streaming and click it to open.
- When the selected dashboard opens, hover over the Presentation icon on the upper right section of the page and select Stream to TV.
When the dashboard contains a date range slicer,
* If the filtering condition set for the date range slicer in the dashboard is inconsistent with the original setting of the date range slicer, it will default to displaying the original filtering condition and the data filtered according to that condition.
* The displayed data is based on the date from which you initiated the stream. For example, if the filter condition of your date range slicer is set to Yesterday, it will show the data from yesterday based on the time you are currently streaming the dashboard to the TV.
- When the Share Dashboard window opens, go to the Device list and check if the device where you will stream is on it.
If the device is on the list,-
Select the device and click Stream.

Open tv.mspbots.ai on your device's browser to view the dashboard.

If the device is not on the list, add your device to the list first. Refer to the article How to Add Your Screen to the MSPbots Device List.
How to add dashboards to a device for streaming
- Open the MSPbots app and go to Settings > Device Manage.
- Find the device where you want to add new dashboards for streaming and click Edit.
- When the Edit window opens, click the Add Dashboard button. This action will open the Add Dashboard window where you will find the Dashboard List.
- Select the dashboards for streaming.
- Click Add Selected to add the selected dashboards and go back to the Edit window.
- The Edit window should now show your additions. Click Save to keep the setup.
How to add a new presentation to rotate dashboards
Use the following steps when you want to create a new presentation.
- Open the MSPbots app and go to Settings > Device Manage.
- Locate the device where you want to stream your presentation and click the corresponding Edit button.
- In the Edit window, hover your cursor over the downward arrow and click Add Dashboard List.
- When the Presentation Management window opens, click the + New button.
- Next, in the New Presentation window, enter the name of your new presentation and click + Add button.
- Select the dashboards for your new presentation and click Add button.
- Once the selected dashboards appear on the Dashboard List, click Save.
- Your new presentation will be added to the Present Management window.

Click the
button to copy your presentation link, then open the link to view dashboards in slideshow mode.
Other actions you can do on the Presentation Management window:
- Click the
button to edit the name of your presentation details.
- Click the
button to delete your presentation.

How to setup Disable Drill Down in Device Management
The purpose of the Disable Drill Down button is to restrict drilling down data when TV users are streaming the dashboard to their TVs, thus ensuring that clients' data is protected and safely secured.
- When Disable Drill Down switch is turned off
, all widgets in your dashboard will be able to use drill down in TV mode.
- When Disable Drill Down switch is turned on
, all widgets in your dashboard will be unable to use drill down in TV mode.
The Disable Drill Down switch is default set to off.
