The Microsoft Azure Active Directory (AAD) Application-level Authorization is needed to:
- Sync users' profile information from the AAD to the MSPbots User Management settings. This information includes:
- User's full name
- Email address
- Position and department
- Reporting manager
- Eliminate the need to manually add users and modify existing users using the Sync Teams User function in the User Management section
- Display the user's avatar in the Attendance Manager dashboard and make it easier for the team to know each member's attendance status
How to give AAD Authorization
- On the MSPbots app menu, navigate to Settings.
- Select Onboarding Welcome App.
- On Step 1 of the Pre-onboarding Process Flow, click the Teams AAD Authorization button. This action will open the Windows login window.
- When the Microsoft pop-up window opens, select your account and sign in with the correct details. If you are not an AAD admin, contact your administrator for this step.
- The following message appears if the authorization is successful.
