How to Create a Date Range Slicer

1. On the MSPbots app menu, navigate to Settings > Slicer.
   
    
   
   
2. Click the + New Slicer button. 
3. Select the Date Range type.
   
   
   
   
4. Enter the widget Name and Description, then click Save.
5. Click the    icon and select a predefined Date Range setup from the following options.
   • Today
     
   • Yesterday
     
   • Last 7/30/90/120 Days
     
   • Last 7/30/90/120 Business Days
     
   • Month-to-Date
     
   • Week-to-Date(Mon - Current)
     
   • Week-to-Date(Sun - Current)
     
   • Week-to-Date(Sat - Current)
     
   • Last Week(Mon - Sun)
     
   • Last Week(Sun - Sat)
     
   • Last Week(Sat - Fri)
   • This Month
     
   • Last Month
     
   • Last 12 Months
     
   • This Quarter
     
   • Last Quarter
     
   • This Year
     
   • Last Year
   • The specific year, such as 2025, 2024, 2018.
     
     
     
     
6. Keep the default settings for Date From QueryParams and Date To QueryParams. 
   
   
   
   
7. Fill in the slicer name in the Filter Label field.
   
   
   
   
8. Then, click Apply to save. This action will show the following notification.
   
   
   
   
9. To check your new slicer, go back to Slicer on the app menu, then click the My Slicers tab.

Other available actions

• Add the slicer to My Favorites - Click the   button in the upper right corner to add the slicer to My Favorites.

  
  
   

  • When   changes to  , it means the addition was successful.
  • After that, you can find the slicer in the My Favorites tab.
    
    
     
  • If you want to remove it from My Favorites, click   to change it to  .
