The Late Time Entry Analysis for ConnectWise Manage is a tool that helps service owners manage late time entries and mitigate the impact of these on utilization and business profitability. Real-time dashboards show entries per user and team and in comparison to the data of other companies. Automated bots can be configured to send reminders for immediate correction and action-taking.
Why should you use the Late Time Entry Analysis app?
An employee incurs a late time entry every time a task is completed without a corresponding time entry. When this happens, issues that affect employee utilization and business profitability issues may arise.
Below are some of these issues that the Late Time Analysis app can help avoid:
-
Inaccurate time entry details - Late time entries, especially those logged too long after the corresponding tasks are completed, may not be accurate because employees tend to forget the ticket details that they need to log. Ticket details like the actions taken, issues raised, and the time it took to complete the task are easily forgotten if not documented right away, thus affecting the accuracy of time entries.
- Missed billable hours - When time entries are logged late, some billable hours may be undocumented or unavailable on time.
- Incomplete data for utilization and agreement profitability computations - Important key performance indicators (KPIs) like utilization and agreement profitability rely heavily on an accurate time entry and become incomplete if late time entry is not addressed.
- Misalignment and ineffective collaboration between the technician and client - Properly logged time entries give information on what happened to certain tickets. However, if an employee does not log the completed task on time, it will be difficult for the clients and other employees to understand what happened to the ticket and what needs to be done next.
