How to Grant Access to MSPbots Employees for Customer Support

You can control the access rights to your own tenant data by managing the Grant Access To MSPbots Employees For Customer Support toggle switch in System Security.

This document provides a step-by-step guide for granting access to MSPbots employees for customer support in the MSPbots app.

Prerequisites

Only admins can set the Grant Access toggle switch in System Security.

How to enable Grant Access

This procedure is the admin's guide for enabling Grant Access in the MSPbots app.

1. Log in to the MSPbots app as an admin.
2. Navigate to Settings > System.
   
   
   
   
3. Go to Security on the System page. 
   
   
   
   
4. Turn on Grant Access To MSPbots Employees For Customer Support by clicking the    toggle switch. 
   
   
   
   
   • When the Grant Access switch is turned on, MSPbots employees will be enabled to access the your data.
     
   • When the Grant Access switch is turned off, MSPbots employees will be restricted from accessing your data.
   • The Grant Access toggle switch is turned on by default. Keeping it on by default will allow MSPbots employees to access your data without any permission limits and time restrictions.
5. Select Time Zone and End Date from the dropdown list.
   • Time Zone - The time zone for the time limits that allow MSPbots employees to access your data.
     
   • End Date - The end date that allows MSPbots employees to access your data. Once the end date is reached, the toggle switch will automatically be turned off.
   • If you turn on the Grant Access toggle switch and do not set the Time Zone and End Date, it will allow MSPbots employees to access your data without any time limit.
     
     
     
     
6. Click Confirm.
   
   
   
   
   • After turning it on, if you want to set the Time Zone and End Date again that allows MSPbots Employees access to your data, click settings to configure.
