The MSPbots Onboarding Welcome App is a tool for starting your MSPbots experience on the right foot. After signup, the app guides you through an 8-step process that ensures your MSPbots configurations are aligned with your goals and work as expected.
Prerequisites
All users who signed up with MSPbots can access the Onboarding Welcome app. However, only those with the admin role in MSPbots can set and modify the configurations.
How can I access the Onboarding Welcome App?
You can access the app by clicking Settings on the MSPbots menu and selecting Onboarding Welcome App.
The Onboarding Welcome App homepage
The Onboarding Welcome App homepage gives an overview of your onboarding experience and training. It shows where you are in your setup process and marks the steps you have accomplished until the setup is complete.
The page also maps out your onboarding timeline and lists the training sessions for your onboarding course. The Meet Our Team section lets you know you're on the road to working with the best team of friendly Onboarding Specialists and dedicated Customer Success Managers who will stand by you during your training and throughout your entire MSPbots lifecycle.
How to use the Onboarding Welcome App
Launch the Onboarding Welcome App from Settings on the left menu or click the link from your welcome email then follow these steps:

Set up users and role access.
- Get AAD authorization using the instructions on How to Give AAD Application Authorization.
This step will sync users' profile information from the AAD to the MSPbots User Management settings and automatically update the information in MSPbots each time the directory is updated. The following message appears after you have successfully authorized AAD.
If your company is not using AAD, select the Skip/No AAD option.
- Set up the users and corresponding roles in MSPbots. Refer to the User Management guide.
This step will assign users the appropriate roles needed for work and ensure the privacy and security of confidential information.
- Click Next when done authorizing the AAD and setting up the roles.
- Get AAD authorization using the instructions on How to Give AAD Application Authorization.

Provide your account information and demographics.
Enter your Company and Contact details in the corresponding fields, then click Next.
If your company is tax-exempt, please email your certificate to accounting@mspbots.ai before proceeding.

Set your priorities and goals.
- Under Company Information, select the values for the following settings on Next Ticket, Business Intelligence, Bots, and Attendance Manager:
- Priority
- Training Date
- Go Live Date
- # of Intended Users

- Under Goals, click +Add to add your goals, then enter the Goal description, Owner, and Benefit.
- Click Next when done.
- Under Company Information, select the values for the following settings on Next Ticket, Business Intelligence, Bots, and Attendance Manager:

Describe your company's current setup.
Please tell us how your organization is set up by filling in the fields.

Plot your downtimes.
- Click +Add to start the list of planned downtimes in your organization. This may include the vacations of our points of contact (POC) during your onboarding period.
If you are not expecting any downtime, enable the No Planned Downtime switch, and click Next.
- Provide the following information:
- Date Start
- Date End
- Type
- POC

Impact onboarding and implementation
- Click +Add to add more downtimes.
- Click Next when done.
- Click +Add to start the list of planned downtimes in your organization. This may include the vacations of our points of contact (POC) during your onboarding period.

Connect your PSA and other software.
- Fill out the Survey in System form.
Filling out the form will add your PSA and other software to the list of integrations under the Waiting to be Connected section.

Set up your integrations.
You can go to the Integrations help page to find the steps for setting up the integration for your software.
After integrations have been set up, the Tool page will show all the supported integrations and software from your survey response. These will be categorized into Connected Integrations and Integrations not connected.
- Install the MSPbots app.
The installation can be done in any of the following methods:- Admins can Add MSPbots to the Teams Global Policy to install the app for all teams in the company.
- Technicians can individually Install the MSPbots App in Teams. This method will install MSPbots only on the technician's MS Teams account.
- Click Next when done connecting integrations.
- Fill out the Survey in System form.

Schedule a kick-off call.
Click the Book a Meeting function to schedule your meeting with a Client Success Manager who will help you start onboarding training.
The Book a Meeting function is available to paid accounts only. If you have a free or trial account, this step in the flow will display the message below.
To continue and complete the pre-onboarding process, please click the upgrade link and subscribe to a plan that fits your requirements.
- Click Next to complete.
- Don't forget to submit your information if you haven't done so! Click Submit at the lower, right corner of the screen.
