After signing up, you may be prompted to provide your time zone and other settings during login. These prompts appear because you might not have completed all the configuration settings in the Survey in System forms. Properly setting these configurations ensures that the MSPbots apps, dashboards, and reports display accurate data and function correctly.
This article discusses these prompts and the settings you must configure after registration.
Prerequisites
Only users with the admin role in MSPbots can set the Time Zone, PSA, and Peer Group from the prompts.
Configure the following settings after signing up to MSPbots:
-
Which time zone do you want to use for MSPbots?
The Time Zone is a required setting in the MSPbots app. Properly configuring this setting prevents date and time stamp issues in the Attendance App, bot alerts, and widgets. If not configured, the default Time Zone is your location or the time zone set on your computer, and the format is DD/MM/YYY.
To modify the Time Zone setting:- Select your preferred time and region from the Time Zone list in the prompt.
- Select a format from the Date Format list.
- Click Next.
-
Which platform do you want to use?
You need to select your professional services automation (PSA) software and connect it later to MSPbots to create datasets, dashboards, and reports for your company.
To configure your PSA, select a PSA from the list and click Next.
If your PSA is not on the list, select Other and enter your PSA in the blank field. Only one (1) PSA can be selected from this window.
-
Which peer groups do you belong to? (Optional)
Indicating your peer group on this step adds your group to the Peer Group section list in the MSPbots app and allows you to set up the peer group features later.
To identify your peer group, select it from the list and click I'm Done. You can select multiple groups.
If your peer group is not on the list, select Other and enter the name of your group.
If you are subscribed to a free account, clicking I'm Done will redirect you to the Marketplace. Otherwise, you will be redirected to the MSPbots app homepage.
To complete these settings and other options, go to the Survey in System page, or read the article The MSPbots Onboarding Welcome App for a guide in starting your MSPbots experience.
