The communication between MSPbots and AI Flow integration is achieved by authenticating AI Flow to MSPbots. The following steps are for connecting AI Flow to MSPbots.
Prerequisites
- Only users with the AI Admin or AI Trial role can set up Flow's integration with MSPbots.
How to set up the AI Flow integration
- Log in to MSPbots.
- Navigate to Integrations in the MSPbots app.
- Search for Flow and click it to open the connection settings.
- Click Activate to initiate the instance setup.
- Flow is successfully connected to MSPbots when the following messages are displayed:
Success
Flow has been successfully set up, and LLM has been successfully configured.
- Click the Configure LLM button to pass the AI API keys setup into the workflow.
Errors and messages when connecting Flow to MSPbots
You may encounter errors and messages when you set up Flow's integration with MSPbots. Below are some messages and information on how to work on them.

This error message appears when the Flow instance cannot establish a connection or complete its setup process. If you see this message, please wait a few moments to allow for any potential network delays, then click the Activate button to reattempt the connection.

Users encounter this message when they click the Configure LLM button before activating Flow. To prevent this error, click the Activate button and initiate the Flow process before clicking the Configure LLM.

This message appears when the Flow instance is successfully connected and set up, and the Large Language Model (LLM) has been configured. When this is displayed, the Activate button is grayed out (disabled) to prevent repeated clicks, which may result in errors.

This error appears when you have successfully integrated Flow but have not connected your AI platform to MSPbots. To resolve this, set up Azure AI or OpeAI then click Configure LLM.

Always click the Configure LLM button in the Flow integration after updating the OpenAI or Azure AI API keys. This important step ensures the updates cascade through the setup, preventing workflow errors.
