How to Use Tags in MSPbots

The article guides you on how to add or remove tags to your assets, delete tags from the tag list, and filter assets by tags.

Asset types include Bots, Widgets, Dashboards, Reports, Scorecards, KPIs, and Slicers.

How to add/remove a tag to your assets

1. Log in to MSPbots as an admin.
2. Click the asset menu, such as Dashboards.
   
   
   
   
3. Locate the asset that you want to add a tag.
4. Click > Edit.
   
   
   
   
5. Follow the below steps:
   • Adding a tag - Select a tag from the dropdown list or enter a new tag and check. Support for selecting multiple tags.
     
     
     
     
   • Removing a tag - Deselect the tag you want to remove.
     
     
     
     
6. Click Continue.
   
   You can add tags when creating a new asset.
   
   
   
   

How to filter assets by tags

1. Log in to MSPbots.
2. Click the asset menu, such as Dashboards.
   
   
   
   
3. Click a asset category, such as My Favorites, My Assets, Template Assets or Best Practice.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Filter.
   
   
   
   
5. Select one or more tags to filter the assets that contain the tags.
   
   
   
   

How to delete a tag from the tag list

1. Log in to MSPbots as an admin.
2. Click the asset menu, such as Dashboards.
   
   
   
   
3. Locate the asset that contains the tag you want to delete. For example, if you want to delete the N-Central tag, you need to locate the KB Test dashboard that contains the N-Central tag.
4. Click > Edit.
   
   
   
   
5. Click the dropdown box of Tag.
   
   
   
   
6. Find the tag you want to delete and click    button.
   
   
   
   
7. Click OK.
   
   
   
   
8. Click Continue.
