Use this article to configure your Microsoft Graph integration with MSPbots.
Prerequisites
- AAD admin permission is required to perform the steps for integration.
- You must have the required Microsoft permissions and roles. For specific permissions and roles required, as well as the authorization methods, refer to How to configure the Microsoft permissions and roles required for connecting Microsoft Graph integration.
How to set up the Microsoft Graph integration
- Log in to MSPbots as an administrator.
- Navigate to Integrations in the MSPbots app.
- Search for Microsoft Graph and click it to open the connection settings.

Click Save and Sync.
- Log in to Microsoft with a Microsoft admin.

When oauth Success appears, it means that the Microsoft Graph integration has been successfully connected.
How to configure the Microsoft permissions and roles required for connecting Microsoft Graph integration
1. Configure Microsoft roles
- Log in to the Microsoft 365 admin center as a Microsoft admin.

Click User > Active users, then click on the user's name who needs to connect Microsoft Graph integration.

Click Manage roles.
- Select between Global Administrator or Teams Administrator and User Administrator for role assignments.
- Click Save.
2. Configure Microsoft permissions
- Log in to Microsoft Azure as a Global Administrator.

Search for MSPbots.ai Background Service in the search bar, then select MSPbots.ai Background Service - Application.

Click API permissions.

Grant the following permissions to the user who needs to connect Microsoft Graph integration with the Microsoft Graph list.
- Mail.Read
- User.Read

User.Read.All
