Encounter the prompts Unable to connect to database or Please check your User Id or Password, Error: Login failed for user when connecting to the database.
Error cause
It may be due to a database connection failure.
How to resolve the error
Please follow the steps below to resolve the error:
- Go to https://dbeaver.io/.
- Download and install DBeaver Community on the device where the MSPbots Agent app is located.
- Use your username, IP address, password, and other parameters to connect to the database for verifying the connection.
- If unsuccessful, it is usually due to client account or firewall configuration issues. Please resolve these issues first before attempting to connect to the database via MSPbots.
- If successful, connect to the database on MSPbots using the same parameters used during verification.
- If the connection fails, please submit a request through our Help Center.
